The founder

Darshit Kakadiya

A next-generation textile entrepreneur, turning fabric manufacturing from a commodity business into a discipline of engineering.

The future belongs not to those who manufacture fabric, but to those who engineer fabric performance.

Born into a family deeply rooted in the textile industry, he combines traditional knowledge of cloth with a modern practice of product development, branding and market building. The fabrics he pursues have to do more than look right: measurable performance, comfort, drape and quality.

At Kalavastraa™ he is building a culture of continuous innovation — advanced weaving, precision manufacturing and partnerships with yarn makers, research institutions and technology providers — so the company can stand among India’s most respected fabric engineering houses.

When I started Kalavastraa™, I envisioned something greater than a textile manufacturing company.
